The Center experience changed my life. It was exactly what I needed at a midpoint in my career when I was focused on seeking new directions.

I wasn't sure at first that the Center was what I needed. It turned out to be exactly right. Although I felt okay about ministry, for some time I had been feeling stale. I really didn't want to do anything else. But I knew I had to make some changes. The biggest problem was Mary's job. She had worked hard to get tenure as a teacher With two kids to educate, we needed the income.

Friends had mentioned how helpful their Center visit had been. I discovered it was a place where people took me seriously and listened carefully. I realized over the two days that I didn't need to move away. Some changes in the way I feel about myself and the job will be needed. I'm working on those. As I reflect on the experience, I realize the feedback I received wasn't always what I wanted to hear, But, with hindsight, it was what I needed to hear. What a difference the Center visit has made in my ministry. I'm much more hopeful and optimistic about the future.
