One-Day Multistaff Workshop

Looking for a top-notch training event for your church staff? The Center for Ministry has hosted scores of multiple staffs for an enjoyable day of learning, team-building, and planning.

With the help of tools like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Styles of Leadership Survey, Ministerial Specialties Ranking List, Interpersonal Check List and others, your professional church leadership team can spend a day away from your office, deepen your understandings of each other, and work on future plans for your enterprise as a church staff,

Pre-program instruments are mailed in advance, enabling the team to spend most of the day with a Center counselor who works from experience, as well as training, having served on muftistaffs in churches, on college campuses, and in agencies like the Center for Ministry.

Spending a day with a skilled "outsider/insider" at the Center can help your staff:

• know each other's personal and professional styles
• understand each other’s managerial strengths
• make use of each staff person's best gifts and skills
• set priorities and design their accomplishment
• resolve differences or conflicts of interest
• build a team that works together well so that the whole team has a greater impact than any single person has alone.

Usually, the MULTISTAFF WORKSHOP is one 9-to-5 day. It is highly recommended that all paid staff persons attend, and, most certainly all full-timers. A typical team might include the Senior Minister, Associate Minister, Administrative Assistant, or Church Secretary. However, any combination of two or more may enroll. (If a group is large, the Center may recommend a longer day or overnight event.)

A one-day team building program is $815 plus $210 for each staff person beyond two. In addition, a longer problem-solving program and appropriate fee can be negotiated; our hourly charge is $135 and our per diem charge is $1,050.
